A polo match in Luxembourg might not draw the biggest crowd, and you might count almost as many overly happy dogs as people, but those who do show up certainly make the most of it; picnicking in the sun, enjoying bubbles from the obligatory crémant stand and popping by the generous Argentinian wine tasting stand for a taste and a chat.
Polo is one of the oldest sports in the world, it’s history dates back more than 2500 years, aiming to train warriors and horses for combat. The Luxembourg Polo Club celebrated its 10th anniversary last year. For information about polo for adults and children in Luxembourg, visit http://www.polo.lu.
